CHARACTER CREATION TUTORIAL
Before submitting your Embers Edge character, you’ll want to think about the basics! I’ll list some good ‘jumping points’ for character creation below.
Is there any particular species that calls to you? Embers Edge has a lengthy list of magical fauna to offer, from imps and their mischief to nymphs and their sworn duty to protect the balance of nature!
What kind of roleplay interests you? If you’d like a character who dives headfirst into action, consider a public servant or becoming a part of the military! If you’d like calm, slice-of-life roleplay, consider a job in retail or opening up a small business!
What would be your characters greatest strength, or weakness? As personality can have an effect over what powers someone has, thinking into the nitty-gritty of who they are as a person can be hugely helpful when deciding on a character. Some species also come alongside their own trials and tribulations, so if you’d like an added ‘challenge’, look no further than the species list!
How did they end up here? Was your character simply born in Embers Edge, or did they flee here before the rebellion? Were they quarantined, or are they just now escaping the wasteland?
Once you’ve put some thought into exactly who you’re trying to create, it’s time to submit your character using this form. You’ll be asked for the following information:
Your initial: We use this to mark ownership in the sheet!
A colour: Used alongside initials to mark ownership. Check the sheet if you’re unsure which colours are yet to be claimed!!
Your characters age, full name, sexuality (optional), species, sin or virtue, occupation, powers, zodiac sign, date of birth (we use this to automatically 'age up' your character), residence, height, non-human features, current partner(s), parents, and if they have a familiar or pet.
We also have a section for you to include an image link of your character’s appearance!! If you’re not an artist, no worries!
